Novas vagas nas Universidades a custo quase zero!

O texto abaixo eu tirei de um e-mail que enviei a dois deputados em 08/nov/2005, mas os e-mail retornaram mensagem de que foram apagados sem ler. Ainda bem que parece que temos novidades: hoje, a UFPI só aceita um curso por estudante!

Defenda esta idéia, pois é pela justiça!

"Em Teresina temos três instituições públicas de ensino superior: a UFPI, a UESPI e o CEFET. Ocorre que, como sabemos, o acesso à educação superior pública, se considerado apenas a oferta de vagas, é bastante difícil ao estudante da escola pública. Sou professor de Matemática no Estado do Maranhão, e fico cortado de pena de ver pessoas com bom potencial mas sem condições de concorrer com alunos das escolas particulares. Para piorar, os estudantes das escolas particulares, como o meu filho, por exemplo, fazem os três vestibulares (UFPI/UESPI/CEFET). Para mim, individualmente, é bom que ele faça, e se ele for aprovado nos três, provavelmente se matriculará nos três. Agora, pensando como governo (aqui vai a minha idéia), se os vestibulares fossem realizados numa mesma data, ficaria impossível de um candidato partiripar dos três. Ele então teria de optar pela UFPI, pela UESPI ou pelo CEFET. Veja que, desta forma, as vagas seriam melhor distribuídas, pois, por ano, um canditato só seria aprovado em um único curso. E os recursos para a educação seriam melhor aproveitados. E também talvez um dos meus alunos entrasse. Solicito analisar esta idéia, cuja implantação pode até prejudicar meus dois filhos que ainda vão chegar à idade de prestar o vestibular, mas que, socialmente falando, com simplicidade, amplia a probabilidade de um estudante carente ou mesmo de um estudante que se preparou menos entrar para a Universidade.

Outro dia, ao admitir um estagiário nos Correios, onde trabalho, verifiquei o seu currículo. Ele tinha três cursos, um na UFPI, um na UESPI e outro no CEFET. Nenhum deles concluído! Ora! É fácil ver que ele tirou dois outros candidatos que poderiam estar estudando integralmente, mas não o culpo indivudualmente, eu mesmo, enquanto jovem estudante, faria o mesmo. Cabe às políticas públicas proteger o povo!

Outra idéia, nesta direção (esta mais radical) seria o cruzamento de dados entre as instituições de curso superior, para proibir a matrícula em mais de um curso simultaneamente. Esta medida seria ainda mais eficiente, levando justiça aos estudantes."

What about retiring and keep working?

The first time I heard that some co-workers were retired and kept on the same public job, I said “You’re kidding me”, and, soon, “It’s an absurd! How can be possible?”. But it was the truth. Here, in Brazil, where jobs are always scarce and the youth population is rising, a large amount of people can hold the retiring and the in activities ears. Meanwhile, some are getting into the violence world, and others are suffering by foodless, including poor children. We’re going to hell for acceptance this things.

Sou novo em Linux

Ah! Para com isto! 99% dos usuários com problemas em Linux são novatos. Então, que tal irmos direto ao ponto, sem desculpas? Está com problema? Cita o problema com detalhes e o que você já fez para solucioná-lo. Algo não deu certo? Descreve precisamente! Tem dúvidas e acha que é besteira? Procura nos fóruns, se não encontrar, pergunta na sinceridade!

Na verdade, estou cansado de entrar nos fóruns de Linux e ver colegas dizendo "sou novo em linux", "sou inexperiente...", "estou começando agora" etc. Vamos parar com isto?

Buying a new car!

I’ve never been with so many bills in my life! I don’t know if it’s really worth, but I had to buy another car last month, without any money in my pocket. Let me explain: five years ago, me and my wife used to have arguments because of so many one waiting for the other. We only had one car for both. So, I decided to buy a motorcycle, a Honda 125cc quite new. It wa 125cc quite new. It was an old dream for me, too, buying one. Two years later, I changed my lovely bike to another, Yamaha Lander 250cc. A very excited one. By another hand, it was known that the crashes involving bikes was achieving to high levels here. I used to recognize it while I looked for forgetting it. However, once I was in a hurry to Timon city in my bike at seven o’clock pm when I saw an accident with two guys which was laid down on the street. This scene really impressed me, and soon, at home, I decided to buy a new car, and it would have to be fast.

How do you like Hobin Wood stile?

I use to think and say that heroes aren’t just a stuff from cartoons! They really exist, and I don’t want to talk about the kind of hero like my mother was (she came alone from the countryside without any money fifty years ago and won!). But I’d like to talk about heroes just as Hobin Wood was. Today, here in Teresina (Piauí), like in all Brazil, there are too much injustices in name of the law. For exemple:



a) Wasting public money to benefit persons instead the process and it’s clients.

b) Spreading publics activities to too much persons who want just earning money and don’t worry about the poorest (insensibility).



So, I can say, especially to youngs, Be a nowadays Hobin Wood! Go into the politics or, even, claim for the poor people!

Good old times

I don’t know why we miss so much our old times, our childhood. But, in my case, it can’t be different. When I was ten years old, there wasn’t to much violence on the streets. We were free to make a variety of plays, especially soccer play on the street. It was thirty years ago, meanwhile, the seventies. Even cars were few in Teresina, and the plays were very different from today. I remember we used to play a game we named triangle. How was it? With a piece of stiff iron like a knife, we put on the ground two triangles and one line. The one who stuck the iron near the line would begin the game. The aim was to close the other one’s player triangle with lines. Today, in Teresina, we can’t leave our children on the streets. It’s very dangerous because of traffic and robbers. Good old times!

Do you know BRO BROS months

Despite the prejudice we face here, being the poorest state in Brazil, and the only in Northeast which capital ins’t at a seashore, living in Piauí can be very grateful. In Teresina, where I live, there is many things to do and have fun. You only must have friends, and it’s all. With friends you can play soccer in a lot of places, from a synthetic landed field to a street at suburb. You can swim at clubs, play the guitar and, even, dance almost all kinds of styles, but mainly ‘forró’, a famous local style of dancing. You can go to the mall. We have two, one bigger and other not so big. There are cinemas at the malls too. If you like water sports like surfing or boating, we only can send you to the Parnaíba River, the largest river in Piauí, but it’s polluted. You can play basketball or volleyball too, since you got the teams. But some sports are very difficult to play here, especially which ones who need sea or cold (snow! No way!). The weather here is always hot, from 24ºC to 42ºC in the hotter days, especially in the warmer months of the year, the last four. We play with this, naming the BRO BROS months, because their names in Portuguese ends with BRO.

English is my dream!

English is my dream! I don't know when I began to be this! but I'm not the kind of person who gives things up, but I never got speaking and understanding this language. Here, in Brazil (our own language is Portuguese), whe have this subject at school, but is rare to take a good gain, because we only study through texts and tasks about affirmative, negative and interrogative right ways to write some phrases.

So, I decided to keep in toutch with the language, and I'm trying differents I can mention as follow:

• doing an English course;
  
• doing my tasks, when I have time;
  
• reading at Internet (I love msn.com, specially about health and food);
  
• seeing DVDs;
  
• printing the subtitles of my favorites movies;
  
• listening CD with audio in my car;
  
• looking for pages for ESL people, like me.
  
• even buying a book in English at Amazon to read it all.
  

I think I'm obcessed! But, now, three years later since I was back at English classes, I fell disappointed with myself. But would you think I'm giving it up? No way! I'll finish the couse and go beyond: keep trying in another couse.

Someday, who knows, you'll heard about my victory. For a while, I decided to post here some essays, especically to practice my English. You can correct my English if you want, be confortble in sending me a comment.

Curtas sobre a Convenção Lojista do Piauí - 2009

Sobre as palestras do Sábado:

RAUL VELLOSO (Economista) - teve seu ponto máximo ao afirmar que se o governo colocasse dinheiro na mão daquela macacada, fazendo referência aos beneficiários do bolsa família, a situação econômica de crise não alteraria em nada. Eu cheguei a pensar em perguntá-lo sobre o que ele acha, então, de um extermínio em massa como a solução? Quanta desconsideração para com o ser humano pobre! e dita assim, tão naturalmente, que deixou todo o mundo perplexo!

MARLIN KOHLRAUSCH (Calçados BIBI) - ótima palestra, pessoa equilibrada e educada. Deixou diversas práticas como sugestão aos empresários. Perfeito!

SOLANGE MACHADO (Consultora) - Foi prejudicada pela CEPISA (faltou energia e à tarde as palestras atrasaram). O problema é que qualquer que fosse a pergunta, a resposta era uma só "você vai ter de aprender a pensar diferente a este respeito...". Só isto?

WALTER LONGO (Adminstrador e assessor do Roberto Justus) - Palestra leve, bem humorada e, acima de tudo, respeitando o público e o Piauí. Foi penalizado pela CEPISA também! 

Zé Rodrix na Conveção Lojista do Piauí - 2009

Para mim, foi umas das palestras mais marcantes da Convenção (Zé Rodrix). É que a música é uma linguagem muito cativante e marcante. É a palestra que eu vou demorar mais a esquecer!Mas o palestrante só escorregou nos seguintes momentos:

a) Dizer que resolveu trabalhar com criatividade, por isto foi ser músico, deixando transparecer que só os artistas são criativos, nós, simples mortais, ratos de escritório, somos uns condenados!

b) Após ter contado a história de seu jingle mais importante, que fez para o Chevrolet, brincou: aproveitem e comprem um chevrolet, pois daqui a 15 anos será um objeto raro, fazendo referência à atual situação financeira da montadora. Mas que pena! parece até estar a cuspir no prato que comeu, não é?

c) Bem! a palestra é sobre Inovação etc. Aí o palestrante tira um exemplo profundo sobre a Kasinski (marca de motos). Segundo ele, o Patriarca do atual dono da marca deixou um conselho ao seu filho: Filho, fabrique coisas que quebrem! Dá para entender?

d) Para encerrar, a música que diz "sou latino americano e nunca me engano" é engraçada! fala que nós, brasileiros, gostamos de chegar atrasado no trabalho e o nosso chefe, que deveria dar o exemplo, chega atrasado com a gente! Bem, pode até ser verdade mesmo! mas como é que vamos mudar isto, sem ninguém que pregue diferente!

Um! O que será aquela mensagem?

Estou na convenção lojista aguardando uma palestra de renomada consultora que veio do sul. Mas, ué, que mensagem é aquela que o XP do note está mostrando? É aquela tipo "você pode ter sido vítima de falsificação de software... Ih! Será que o XP não é licenciado? Que vergonha! 

Que auditório lindo! Mas espere um pouco...

Eu estava no Autitório da Faculdade NOVAFAPI, que aliás é um lugar muito aconchegante, limpo, novo, espaçoso, climatizado... mas, espere, o que é aquilo nas splits? Um número de ordem colocado a pincel! Por que não tiraram? É incrível como algumas pessoas não se importam com a qualidade do seu trabalho. Para instalar as splits, numeraram-nas a pincel de 01 a 08, aí, após a instalação, ao invés de limparem com um pano seco, deixaram lá para a posteridade.
